Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been sentenced for causing death by dangerous driving. A news release from the Apple Valley Police Department says officers were dispatched to a Huntington Bank branch on the report of a robbery around 10 a.m. Thursday. His enthusiasm and initiative led to the creation of a specialized position within the Investigations Bureau where he has served for the past 17 years, often volunteering as many hours as a full-time employee. An employee that works from the group home provided as much information as possible to police about the incident.
