They basically didn't know what was going on with the exception of first replacing the PCM for $1200 at Fords cost. He was on the right, so I moved around the car to the right looking towards the engine. I had it towed to the shop and low and behold it is the computer and catalytic converter so far and the mechanic states he hasn't seen anything like this since car is in good shape. Jun 6, 2012. I was driving about 40 mph, and my car just randomly died after all the dashboard lights flashed on. Four coils are bad and it burned the circuit board or whatever you call it. Oil and brake light illuminate constantly. This has happened multiple times (meaning more than 5 times) during the summer of 2011. It was very shaky. It isn't far fetched that this electrical issue with failed safeguards could have resulted in far more injury than my slightly burned fingers. If the key is not removed, it will not restart. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. Once they got the engine codes " reloaded " and tried to start it..guess what4 coils were blown out and the car would barely run. Service Engine light then came on and so I got it started again and took it immediately to the nearest auto shop. The oil has been changed, air filter, radiator fluid, battery good. Had fuel filter replaced. I think corrective action should be taken towards a resolution. See

Even when I have the heater or a/c on they turns off and Im a afraid that if or when Im on the highway all my lights will just stop working on the middle of the highway at night and no one will be able to see me.
